AM2PM Kick-Off Meeting Held at TUM

The AM2PM project officially launched with a successful kick-off meeting held on November 22, 2024, at the Technical University of Munich (TUM), Germany. This hybrid meeting brought together both in-person attendees in Munich and virtual participants from the consortium.

The day began with a warm welcome by Project Coordinator Aaron Sprecher, who provided an overview of the project timeline, roles, responsibilities, and dissemination strategy. Following this, the AM2PM vision, objectives, and expectations were discussed, emphasizing the integration of diverse aspects into one synergistic system that aims to revolutionize construction through advanced manufacturing and robotics.

Programme Highlights:

  • Presentations of all Work Packages (WPs) covering objectives, planned tasks, and expected outcomes.

  • Collaborative brainstorming sessions to align project goals and promote innovation.

  • Discussions on upcoming events and linking closely related tasks to ensure project’s progress.

The meeting concluded with session reports from the WPs, a comprehensive roundtable discussion, and summaries of action items and key decisions. This pivotal meeting set the tone for the project’s progress and emphasized collaboration, innovation, and actionable outcomes.

We’re excited to embark on this transformative journey, and the AM2PM team looks forward to sharing future milestones. If you want to learn more, watch the Behind the Scenes video on our YouTube channel.
